My aim was to recapture the joy of creating by playing with my hand dyed fabrics and embroidery threads.... (1) One a day, (2) size of the 100 day project invitation, (3) inspired by nature, (4) working toward abstract rather than realism. (5) trying to find and portray just the essense.
The first two days of my 100 Days project. Started on January 21, 2014.
Days 3, 4 and 5 plus the invitation postcard that my size (4.25" by 5.5") is based on.
Days 6, 7, 8 and 9, I am having so much fun!
Days 10, 11 and 12 ----
Days 13 14 15 and 16... I really like the golden one. ---
Here are 17 18 19 and 20.
...days 21, 22, 23 and 24....
... days 25, 26, 27 and 28. It is starting to be tough, some pieces are not finished until one or two days later. But I do work at least 20 minutes and I WILL get to 100.
... days 29, 30 31 and 32... look better than the photo shows. I can stitch but photography not so much.
.... days 49, 50, 51 and 52....
... days 33, 34, 35 and 36... looks like they are getting more minimalist.
... days 37, 38, 39 and 40...
... days 41, 42, 43 and 44...
.... days 45, 46, 47 and 48....
... days 49, 50, 51, and 52....
..... days 53, 54, 55 and 56......
... days 57, 58, 59 and 60....
...days 61, 62, 63 and 64...
... days 65, 66, 67 and 68....
...days 69, 70, 71 and 72.... today (April 8) is day 78... I am falling a bit behind in the finishing process, LOL
... days 73, 74, 75 and 76.... the top two (73 and 74) have no stitching... my way of marking the days I didn't put in my time on this project.
..days 77, 78, 79 and 80....
... days 81, 82, 83 and 84.....
next batch.... days 85, 86, 87 and 88.... the end is in sight....
... days 89, 90, 91, and 92 .... and counting....
... days 93, 94, 95, and 96....
....... days 97, 98, 99 and 100 !!!! Fini
